Yea i try and promote stuff (books, cds, etc.) a little if i can.
No kidding- the other storylines are old and played out. It's time for new blood and Dave's trilogy is the heir to the throne. I hope Marvel is paying attention, but Dark Horse or Radical would do nicely.
As a writer you don't know what being hot on the trail of a live text feels like, until it happens. The game changes when how you write becomes as important as what you write.
It would be great to have your feedback at PP. A few people have taken a look, but no one has commented, yet. I'm in the critique que at The Pit, but it may be a month before I get posted for comments there. Which is fine, I've plenty of work to do, and I've been hacking out my place in the community there. You were right. A good place to spend some time. Potential networking, but I'm not rushing that.
Your chapter links were gone. They were all back, the next time I looked.
So, I'm leaving a comment with each chapter, even if it's just to let you know I read it. And more and more, I'm thinking it could just be a matter of catching a break. Your best writing, if sustained, is good enough to warrant publication.
I hate to be the one to say this, but something seems to be missing at your web site. Let me know if you read your comment wall. If I don't hear from you in a day or so, I'll post this somewhere else to make sure you know...

I have a book to suggest:
"Writing to Sell" by Scott Meredith, a kindred spirit who has gone ahead...
I think some of his ideas about the novel's skeleton are too narrow, but he hammers on the basic skills every writer needs to consciously master to be sound and productive. These are the thoughts of a successful commercial writer. No frills and no pretensions. He has helped me a lot.
