I NEVER READ CRITICS OR REVIEWS! What right do they have to take the wind of sails before the storm rises? I wish the whole world could deal like this...READ THE ACTUAL BOOK, SEE THE ACTUAL MOVIE AND MAKE UP YOUR OWN F*****G MIND! If youve got one, zombies are off the hook, automatically you see why.
but then how would we ever find out about anything? What about asking friends for opinions before you see a movie or read a book? Does that count as a review?
and more importantly, how would all these poor critics earn their bread otherwise? it's not like they can get jobs in the real world... *hides*
Notably, I don't make enough money on Flames Rising to on, the site barely makes enough to pay for itself. I write reviews for fun and to help promote authors that are worth reading.
You totally changed the Caxton paradigm in this one...and I loved it! It reminded me of a sadistic game of manhunt played by humans and vampires in an arena-like prison. I agree with the reviewer that the ending was bitter-sweet. I need to know how it ends for Caxton, and yet I don't want it to. Any chance you'll give us a hint when the next one will be out?
